Yes. Volume licensing discounts are available for teams of 5 or more. The pricing scales with team size – larger groups get steeper per-seat discounts. Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis – email Greg within 14 days of purchase with a brief note about the issue, and most reasonable requests are accommodated. The free Microsoft Teams course is a good way to preview the teaching style before purchasing a paid course, so most refund requests are avoided up front.

No – each enrollment is for one individual user. For teams that all need access to the same course, volume licensing is the right path. Each team member gets their own login and progress tracking, at a per-seat discount. Sharing a single login across multiple users is against the Academy’s terms of use.

Live training is delivered by Greg via a scheduled 2-hour web meeting, during which attendees can ask questions in real time. SharePoint Maven Academy is a catalog of pre-recorded video courses you take at your own pace, with lifetime access. Live is best for current features and team-specific questions; Academy is best for foundational learning that doesn’t change weekly.

All Academy courses cover SharePoint Online (Microsoft 365). Courses are refreshed every few years, when Microsoft releases or makes major changes that materially affect how the lessons work. In some cases, Live training is a better fit because the content can reflect the very latest SharePoint Online release.

The Academy currently includes courses on Microsoft Teams (free), SharePoint & OneDrive Beginner, SharePoint Site Owner, SharePoint Metadata, and SharePoint Advanced Document Management. Each course is roughly 2 hours of focused video lessons, broken into short segments you can take at your own pace.

No coding, no developer background, and no prior SharePoint experience are required for the beginner courses. More advanced courses (Metadata, Document Management) build on foundational SharePoint concepts covered in the beginner course.

No – videos stream from the course portal and aren’t available for offline download. Lifetime access means you can come back to the course whenever you need to refresh a topic.

Closed captions are available on every video lesson. The captions can be toggled on and off during playback, and they’re useful for both accessibility and quickly scanning a lesson to find a specific topic without watching the full segment.
