SharePoint can store and version most drawing files including PDFs and reasonable-sized CAD files. For very large native CAD environments with active multi-engineer editing, a CAD-specific document management platform. SharePoint Maven can help you draw that boundary during scoping.

SharePoint Online supports secure external sharing through guest access in Microsoft 365. Consultants and sub-consultants can be granted scoped access to specific project sites or libraries without giving them broader firm access. Permission boundaries are configured per project.

Yes. SharePoint Online supports retention policies that can be applied at the site, library, or document level – including project-record retention periods that automatically preserve documents for the required years post-completion. Retention rules are configured during the project based on your firm’s policy.

SharePoint Maven uses the same fixed-fee pricing across every industry. Hourly consulting is $350/hour with no minimum. SharePoint intranets are $4,800-$6,400, fixed-fee. Document management projects are $2,400-$4,200, fixed-fee. Live training is $950 per 2-hour session with unlimited attendees. Pricing is flat and published – no proposal negotiation cycle.

Intranet projects typically run 5–8 weeks from kickoff to delivered training. Document management projects run 3–4 weeks. Hourly consulting can start within one week of purchase. Timelines are agreed up front and don’t slip – fixed-fee means no mid-project change orders or scope additions.

Greg Zelfond does every engagement personally. There are no subcontractors, junior consultants, or offshore teams. You work directly with Greg from the first call through delivery and training. Because of that, SharePoint Maven runs roughly one engagement at a time – reach out a few weeks before your preferred start window to confirm availability.

Every project is built using out-of-the-box SharePoint features, with no custom code and no third-party tools, so your IT staff or site administrator can manage and extend the environment using the same admin tools that Microsoft documents publicly. Every project includes both admin training and site owner training.

Yes. Live training sessions ($950 per 2-hour session, unlimited attendees) can be booked as part of a rollout to train staff or administrators. On-demand SharePoint Maven Academy courses ($60 each, with volume licensing for teams) work well for ongoing onboarding as new people join. Both options are taught by Greg personally.
