Both prices are all-inclusive: meetings, information architecture, configuration, and training are included. No hidden costs.

A Basic Intranet takes about 5 weeks from kickoff to launch. A Custom Intranet takes about 8 weeks because additional time is required for brand-aligned design, custom theme and fonts, and custom graphics and icons. Both timelines include requirements gathering, information architecture, configuration, and training for admins and site owners.

Every intranet package includes: a home page (branded for your organization), department sites, navigation structure, security and permissions setup, Microsoft Teams integration, admin (IT) training, and site owner training. The Custom tier additionally includes brand-aligned design, custom theme and fonts, and custom graphics and icons matched to your visual identity.

The Basic Intranet ($4,800, 5 weeks) uses out-of-the-box SharePoint themes and standard layout. The Custom Intranet ($6,400, 8 weeks) adds brand-aligned design – your fonts, your colors, your custom graphics, custom icons, and a polished visual identity. Both packages include the same underlying functionality (home page, department sites, navigation, security, Teams integration, training).

The fixed-fee covers everything in the package: meetings, information architecture design, configuration, and training. Three things are deliberately not included: content migration (your team or a separate migration vendor handles that), custom development or third-party add-ons (SharePoint Maven only builds out-of-the-box), and ongoing maintenance (the engagement ends at handoff).

Yes. SharePoint intranet projects are typically billed in two installments – a deposit at kickoff and the remainder upon delivery – though specific terms are agreed in the written proposal before the project starts. Payment is by credit card, bank transfer, ACH, or check. Formal invoices and receipts are provided.

Typically two roles: a project lead who coordinates internally and joins all review meetings (usually IT or operations), and a stakeholder or sponsor who approves design decisions (usually a department head or executive). Subject matter experts are pulled in briefly when their content areas come up. Most clients invest 2–4 hours per week during the engagement.

Content migration is not included in the fixed-fee package. SharePoint Maven configures the intranet structure (sites, libraries, navigation, permissions) and trains your team. Your team or a separate migration vendor moves the content. This keeps the project price predictable and avoids the open-ended scope of legacy-content cleanup, which can run longer than the configuration itself.

Every project is built using out-of-the-box SharePoint and Microsoft 365 features (no custom code, no third-party add-ons), so your IT team can manage and extend the intranet using the same admin tools Microsoft documents publicly. The package includes both admin and site owner training.

Yes. Every intranet is built using only out-of-the-box SharePoint and Microsoft 365 features, which means business users can update day-to-day content – news posts, page edits, documents, quick links – directly through the standard SharePoint interface, with no coding or IT involvement. Both site owners and IT admins are covered in the included training.

Most intranet clients return for follow-up hourly consulting whenever new questions come up – there’s no retainer required, and unused hours never expire. Some clients book refresher training sessions as their teams grow or as Microsoft 365 introduces significant new features.

Yes – security, permissions, and access boundaries are configured as part of every intranet package. For tenant-wide governance, the separate Copilot Governance Audit service goes deeper. Many clients combine the two — an intranet for the visible experience, and a governance audit for the underlying configuration.
