Posted on July 7, 2025
SharePoint

If your organization opted for the Copilot M365 licenses, there are a few handy commands and features you can use to get the most of your files stored on SharePoint and OneDrive. I would like to provide a quick overview of those features in this article. There are a total of four (4) to get you started.

1. Summarize

You can use the Summarize feature if you have a large amount of information stored in a document and would like to quickly summarize it. It provides a quick overview of the document. I explained how it works in this article.

2. Ask a question

Sometimes, a summary might be insufficient, and you might need to inquire for more information. In this case, you can ask Copilot a question using the Ask a question feature. Read more about it here.

3. Compare

Compare is one of my favorite features. It allows you to compare or easily find distinctive information between a few files. Check out this article to learn more about this feature.

4. FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Finally, we have the FAQ feature. If you have lots of content stored in a document and are trying to build an FAQ list on your SharePoint site, you can use Copilot to generate frequently asked questions and answers and post them on the site. I explained how to do this in this article.
