Microsoft Teams Training

Each course is a live, instructor-led, 2-hour online session conducted by Greg Zelfond over a web meeting (typically Microsoft Teams or Zoom). Attendees can ask questions in real time throughout the session. A recording of the session is included after the course, so attendees can rewatch and absentees can catch up.

Unlimited attendees per session – the $950 flat fee covers your entire team regardless of headcount. Most clients run sessions with 10–30 attendees, but groups as small as 3 and as large as 50+ have all worked well within the 2-hour format. Larger groups may want to coordinate the timing of questions to keep the session moving.

Most courses are delivered within one week of purchase. After checkout, email Greg with your team’s availability, and the session is typically scheduled within 2-3 business days. If you have a specific date in mind, mentioning it during purchase helps coordinate faster – sessions are confirmed first-come, first-served on Greg’s calendar.

A web browser and an internet connection. The session runs over Microsoft Teams or Zoom (your choice), so attendees just click a meeting link at the scheduled time. No software installation, no specialized hardware, no Microsoft 365 admin access required. The instructor’s screen handles all demonstrations.

Yes – attendees can ask questions during the session. While the demos use generic examples, questions about how concepts apply to your specific setup are welcome and addressed in real time. For deeper organization-specific guidance, hourly consulting ($350/hour) is a better fit for that level of customization.

This course is designed for business users and anyone new to Microsoft Teams – no technical background required. It’s a good fit for organizations rolling out Teams for the first time, hybrid teams trying to standardize collaboration, and individual staff who use Teams daily but have never learned it properly. Comfort with a web browser is the only prerequisite.

The Microsoft Teams course covers creating teams and channels, working with tabs and apps, file management, notifications, settings, external sharing, and the mobile app. It also covers how Teams connects to SharePoint and Microsoft 365 Groups behind the scenes. The course covers how Teams files are actually stored in SharePoint behind the scenes – every Team creates a SharePoint Site with a document library – but doesn’t go deep on SharePoint itself. The course covers Microsoft Teams as it works within Microsoft 365 (the cloud version). Teams for personal accounts (free Teams) and Teams on Microsoft 365 for Education or Government tenants share the same fundamentals – the course material applies to all current variants.
