What You Need To Know


What happens when you first contact me

The first thing you need to do to start working with me is to say hello. Seriously. Send me an email or fill out my online form and let me know about your SharePoint-related needs. After that we’ll set up a 30-minute phone call or web meeting to discuss your business requirements. Since I’m not an attorney, this initial call is free. (You’re welcome.)

Depending on the services you require, we might schedule another session to discuss the project scope in greater detail. This second session is also free. (I really meant it when I told you that I’m not an attorney.)

Once we’ve established what you need, I’ll either start billing you my hourly rate (if that’s the pricing model we’ve agreed works best for your needs) or I’ll prepare a customized project proposal (Statement of Work) with a fixed fee estimate.

How I work

There are many reasons why I love my job.

For one thing, SharePoint allows me to provide solutions that make it easier for my clients to achieve real-world outcomes. My work helps them manage multiple projects, promotes team collaboration, and allows them to better serve their communities. For another, since I do all my work virtually and remotely, across multiple time zones, I get to work with amazing people located around the world.

Since I strongly believe in creating affordable solutions, I only use the functionality built into SharePoint to create functional, out-of-the-box sites with easy-to-use interfaces. No expensive third party tools. No custom coding. This approach allows me to provide you with cost-effective SharePoint environments that meet your needs and are easy to maintain.

And finally, when you hire me, you will work directly with me—not an outsourced subcontractor or another external consultant. I’ll work one-on-one with you throughout the process, managing the entire project from start to finish.
